We have had an eventful day in our much loved new home on wheels. We’ve travelled from Hoogeveen and now on the outskirts of Amsterdam in preparation of Koningsdag (King’s Day). Mic’s been to the grocery store to top up supplies and come back with an array of yummies. We are loving

every minute of our adventure. The Netherlands is very welcoming and a charming place to visit. The people are quirky and can speak English well.

We were up early this morning enjoying our first breakfast in the campervan. Vegemite on toast couldn’t be more Aussie than that. The sun’s shining so looks like it will be a great day. We have no plans, so will just be tinkering getting to know the features of our new home on wheels better.
